Since 1996, SBCC has served as lead agency for the Family Support Collaborative, which includes more than 40 partner agencies throughout the South Bay region of Los Angeles County. All SBCC programs have access to the organizational members of the Collaborative in order to secure additional services for their participant families. Our collaborative structure ensures equitable regional service across the South Bay, with service "hubs" at SBCC's El Segundo office and at municipal-government partner agencies in 3 additional cities (Long Beach, Carson, and Inglewood). Services available through our Family Support partners include mental health, drug and alcohol treatment and recovery, primary healthcare, early care and education, perinatal health and wellness, job training and employment, financial asset-building, youth development, and emergency supports for housing, transportation and other needs.
